Many evenings you will find our residents enjoying the fire and the sounds of music. The nearby library has an extensive collection of books for our residents to check out and read at their leisure.
Situated in a peaceful setting, the Main Cottage is perfect for those in need of a little extra help with daily activities, offering the ultimate experience in assisted living. The floor-plans for our assisted living option are extensive and feature studio, one-bedroom, one-bedroom-deluxe, and two-bedroom-deluxe options. Each room has its own thermostat and the staff takes care of housekeeping. The Main Cottage makes assisted living feel like independent living without the worries of home management. The companion suites ensure that couples can stay together even when the need for personal care arises.
Community Gathering Place
The Main Cottage is a community gathering place for food, fun, and entertainment. In the summers our residents enjoy porch socials with ice cream and boiled peanuts. Sitting areas along the hallways are great places to meet with friends and play bridge and an activity room is a great place to exercise or play games. In addition to the main dining room, there is a private dining room that residents can check out to visit privately with friends and family. It’s a great place to have a birthday party.
Residences in the Main Cottage are designed for comfort and safety. Each room has a 24-hour nurse call system. Residents are provided with housekeeping and personal laundry services; and they can also receive help with personal care and hygiene. Our staff can supervise, schedule, or follow-up with medical appointments to make sure our residents can minimize stress and maximize enjoyment of life.
